Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Changes Coming To Magellan Terminals
Required Changes Coming to Magellan Terminals
From: Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P., a Subsidiary of ONEOK, Inc.
Please note that as of May 1, 2024, additional personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required for drivers at all Magellan facilities.
Additional PPE requirement includes:
- Hard hats
- Full set of flame-resistant clothing (FRC) long-sleeved shirt and long pants or an FRC lab coat at a minimum with long pants.
This PPE is required in addition to the current PPE requirements (i.e., leather closed-toed boots with slip-resistant soles, safety glasses, leather gloves, and in places where hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is present, an H2S monitor).
Please plan for this May 1 deadline to ensure that you meet these requirements, as work will not be allowed without the required PPE.
Please contact your terminal operator with any questions.
