Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Updates

Changes to Your Refined Products & Crude Login Experience

Effective June 9, 2024, all users - employees, contractors, and Refined Products and Crude (RPC) customers - must use a multi-factor authentication app (MFA) to log in to all Refined Products and Crude (RPC) customer portal interface applications.

Timelines & Helpful Information 

  • Effective Now: All affected customers can download their preferred and approved MFA platform before the transition date. 
  • Effective Now: All affected customers can begin registering their MFA. This pre-registration is highly encouraged to ensure a smooth transition. 
  • Effective June 9, 2024: MFA is required to log in to all RPC Customer Portal applications. 

Why is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Needed? 

  • It provides additional safety and security measures through a TSA-approved, secure, two-step verification process.
  • It protects our customer's and our company data.
  • It provides a familiar, effortless authentication experience.

Ensuring You're Ready.

Pre-Registration Available Now

Effective June 9, 2024, whenever you log in to any Refined Fuel or Crude platform, you are prompted with an additional access request: a multi-factor authentication numerical code. For a more straightforward day-one experience, please follow the instructions below to pre-register.

 

How to Pre-Register 

  • Log in with your current username and password.
  • Choose your preferred security method. (See screenshot 1.) 
    • Choose the ‘Okta Verify’ option using the Okta Verify mobile app.
    • Choose the ‘Google Authenticator’ option for all other preferred authentication apps.
  • If you don't already have a mobile app for multi-factor authentication, download any of the above-mentioned ONEOK-approved authentication applications on your preferred business device(s).
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to scan a QR code and register your authentication app. (See screenshot 2.)
